Beating circus elephants is not just in the USA, it's global

This is recent video of the Great British Circus from Animal Defenders International (ADI). Shades of deja vu. Just like the Ringling Bros. Circus, they beat the elephants, too.

There isn't a whole lot more to add. You can see the abuse with your own eyes. These are NOT isolated incidents. This is the NORM for elephants, and all circus animals. As if these abuses aren't bad enough, even after seeing videos like these, people still defend circuses and brag they're still going to go to them and bring their kids. How selfish can you get! They're no better than the animal abusers that work in circuses.

I reiterate that, in the wild, female elephants (which are the vast majority of captive elephants because they can be controlled/dominated easier than male elephants) live in groups their entire lives with their mothers, sisters, aunts, and cousins. They help each other out as a group. The mourn their dead and even bury their dead much like we have funerals. They are intelligent and gentle giants that roam 70-100 miles a day which keeps their feet healthy. Severe foot problems, such as osteomyelitis, is the #1 killer of captive elephants, who live about HALF the age of their counterparts in the wild.

Circuses with animal acts MUST be stopped. The beatings won't.
